3.4.2. The standing long jump test

The standing long jump test measures the development of the elastic leg strength.

Follow these steps to perfom the standing long jump test:

  1. Stand with your feet flat on the floor and near the line.

  2. Flex the knees and move the arms backwards.

  3. Jump horizontally as far as possible.

  4. Land with both feet together.

  5. Repeat the test twice.

  6. The final score is the longest distance of the two.
