Problems with lip-sync! Singin' in the Rain

The arrival of sound in movies has been the subject of various films, but there is one which is perhaps the most well known: Singin' in the Rain. Watch these funny clips of this movie about making a movie.

Lina is the character who has been a very famous film star in silent films, before the arrival of "talkies". When technology develops and sound is included in films, she isn't good because she hasn't got a nice voice and she can't sing. So the director decides to let a good singer, a girl called Cathy, do the songs in the movie while Lina lip-syncs.

In the first clip, there are problems with the synchronization (LOL!)

In the second, the problems come when at the opening night of the film, a live audience asks Lina to sing for them........
