8.3. Standing postures

Standing postures are the basic types of asanas in yoga.

They help you improve leg power, strength and stability.

During a series of standing postures, your heart and lungs actively clean the body of toxins.

While you are performing standing postures, the nervous system is alert and you feel attentive and settled.
