Rhythmic reading 1

Here there are four different time signatures in these G-clef exercises: 3/4, 2/4, 4/4 and one 6/8 time signature to practise ternary rhythm. Pay attention to ties, slurs, triplets, accents, dotted notes and accidentals.

First study the scores and practise hand movements to represent the corresponding time signature. Then name the notes aloud while keeping the beat with your hand. It doesn't matter if you start slowly but try to increase speed with practice till you are fluent and accurate.
