1-Key signature accidentals indicate that all notes on the line or space where they are placed are affected by that accidental (and also all notes of the same pitch in the score) till another accidental affecting that note or notes appears.
2-If we take out C major and A minor, which don’t contain any sharps or flats, the remaining keys need sharps or flats so that the pattern of tones and semitones is organised as in C major and A minor.
3-A♯ minor contains seven sharps: F♯, C ♯, G♯, D ♯, A♯, E♯, B♯.
4-C-clef on the third line (also called alto or viola clef) gives name to the line, the third line, that goes through the clef.
5-Queen Liliʻuokalani was considered a skilled writer and song composer. She also played some instruments such as piano, ukelele, guitar and zither. In her music she mixed traditional elements of Hawaiian culture and harmonies and rhythms brought to the islands by missionaires.
