TO INTRODUCE PEOPLE

HOW TO INTRODUCE PEOPLE:

HOW TO INTRODUCE PEOPLE:

a) To introduce oneself:

Debuxo dun monstro alto chamado Greeny

1) Start saying your name, your age and where you are from.

2) Add what studies you are in, your likes and dislikes, the sports or hobbies you practise...

3) Tell who you live with and what your favourite food is (and your favourite song, your favourite colour…).

4) Finally, add a sentence to finish, to ‘close’ the text (‘And that’s all about my friend’, for example).

Example:

Hello, my name is Martin and I am eleven years old. I am from Barcelona but I live in Pontevedra.

I am studying sixth grade at Montebaixo School.

I live in a flat with my mother Sheila, my grandfather Albino, my grandmother Rosa and my sisters Ana and Leticia. I love animals but I haven't got any pets.

My favourite animal is the horse, my favourite food is fish and chips and my favourite singer is Billie Eilish. I like playing chess, reading comics and playing handball, and I don't like playing tennis or drawing.

Nice to meet you!

    or

b) 'This is... (the name of the other person)'

3) Add some convenient information about each one of the people you are introducing.

Example:

(BEN) - Hello, John!

(JOHN) - Hi, Ben! I would like to introduce Rachel. She is my sister. Look, Rachel, Ben is my friend from the school of music.

(BEN) - Nice to meet you, Rachel.

(RACHEL) - Nice to meet you too, Ben!
