Welcome to Kokushu

Kokushu is a big island in the Atlantic Ocean. There, you can walk across forests or swim in the ocean, because there are more than fifteen beaches. In the past there were a lot of exotic trees and monkeys there because there was a rainforest, but now there isn’t a rainforest and there aren’t monkeys. In that place there is a small desert now with cactus and some camels. In Kokushu you can see a lot of koalas but you can’t see badgers. More than 2,000 people live in that island. Samuel and his family live in Kokushu too. In the mornings they go to the lake and swim with the fish and some frogs. There aren’t dolphins in the lake, but there are six dolphins in one of the beaches. They are small and funny. There are also eight koalas in the island. Sometimes, Samuel and his cousin play with the koalas. They don’t like football, but they like playing with balls! Koalas eat plants, but they don’t eat small animals. In the afternoons, Samuel goes home because he wants to be with his grandmother. She is 97 years old. Samuel hasn’t got a grandfather.
