PRONUNCIATION: verb endings -s and -es

The 3rd person singular present simple -S and -ES have 3 pronunciations: /z/, /s/ and /Iz/Listen and repeat the names. Pay attention to the /z/, /s/ and /Iz/ sounds.

Listen to the sentences. Who is the subject? Pay attention to the sound of the -s and -es verb endings. Is it Charles /z/, Chris /s/ or Mercedes /Iz/?
