PROJECT: A digital cookbook with Galician recipes
Now that you know how to write a recipe, let’s embark on a project to let the world know about Galician cuisine!
We are going to create a digital cookbook with Galician recipes. Follow these steps:
Step 1
Choose a dish to write about and fill in the chart 'Tasting Galicia' (it's included below) with your name right next to the dish.
Step 2
Write a recipe in between 150-180 words. Remember the structure:
- Title
- Number of servings /people
- Ingredients
- Instructions (use the imperative and time sequencers)
- Optionally, you can add some information about the origins of the recipe or the place where it is popular.
Share you text with your teacher in electronic format.
Step 3
Look for a picture of the recipe and paste it on the document with your text. You can take a picture yourself or look for one with a Creative Commons license.
CCSearch is a useful website to find images. Type a key word on the search box and choose the image you prefer.
Step 4
Share the document with the image and text with your teacher. Finally, edit the edit the final document with all your recipes and publish it on Issuu.com so that everybody can read/download it and add comments.
