Frequency adverbs and expressions

To talk about habits, we can also use adverbs and expressions of frequency:

I cook pasta once a week

I often eat vegetables and fruit

Exercise 1

Think about your eating habits and, in your notebook or electronic document, write an adverb or expression of frequency next to each activity.

Example: eat fruit. I eat fruit five times a day

  1. cook pasta.
  2. drink fizzy drinks.
  3. wash the dishes.
  4. eat vegetables.
  5. go to the supermarket.
  6. go to a fast food restaurant.
  7. order take-away food.
  8. prepare an exotic dish.
