RHYMES, RIDDLES, SONGS AND POEM BOOKS

Poetry and the game of rhymed stanzas has been a powerful resource to "trap" early readers, and also pre-readers. The connection between word and music ou musicality creates a special attractive, leading to learning the poems by heart, to their representation, and even to their dramatization. Furthermore, there is a relevant human connection between young and adult people, thanks to this.

When writers and illustrators have sessions at schools with kids, these books are specially useful for reading outloud, singing in group and the celebration of the spoken word.

A Galician captain sails along the seas. The poems lead us through their dificulties, their obstacles, and their victories. The rhymes guide the reader towards a euforic climax.
