DOCUMENTARIES

The documentary is a type of book whose intention is to inform, attract towards a world of knowledge (literature also does it). But in this case, in a systematized organized way, in a way that image is the support (sometimes scientific) for readers to enter specific worlds. The pedagogue Comenius, between the 16th and 17th centuries, became the precursor of didactic documentary books, with his Orbis Pictus. Nowadays, the little ones (and the not so little) earn details and subtleties about dinosaurs and fauna in general, about plants, nature phenomena, and much more. |
