GADGETS PROMOCIONAIS

Promotional gadgets do not always have an educational or formative intention. They are present everywere in the visual culture which surrounds the younger ones: caps. T-shirts, balloons, pins, brochures, posters, etc. Most of the times they only have a promotional value, selling one image or one brand. And they are frequently used as presents for kids. They usually contain images, and for that reason they are considered visual products.

SOME EXAMPLES

Sometimes there are promotional elements of a high artistic value.

Publishers usually make calendars combingin the information about the months with othr types of data around books, or even with exclusive stories.

Thus, we may see illustrated calendars, with visual reflexions (sometimes very poetic) about the different periods of the year, or transforming the months into vignettes of a comic story.
