Rhythmic reading 2

Rhythmic reading 2

gif bongos

Here, there are two exercises in a 6/8 time signature. Both of them use the F-clef. Remember the 2/4 hand movement to measure the 6/8 time signature.

As in the rhythmic reading 1 exercises, first study the scores and practise hand movements to represent the corresponding time signature. Then name the notes aloud while keeping the beat with your hand. It doesn't matter if you start slowly, the idea is that speed is increased with practice. Again use the metronome sound to help you increase speed. If you are having problems with the metronome link, you only have to seek for another one in your computer using your default search engine.

Texts to Rhythms

Look at the scores and match them with their corresponding sound file. Pay attention to the length of the words so that you can find the note pattern that the phrase represents.
