gif banjoNow that you know how 8va intervals work, let's learn to sing them properly. To get the best tuning, practice with these exercises. You will have to raise or lower the pitch of the notes. Then you will be able to do the same with the proposed exercises.

8ve practice

Here's the sound file you can use as a guide.

When you finish practising, study and memorize the staves in the exercises below and find the 8va intervals. Then sing the notes aloud according to their pitch. Click on the question mark to check where the 8va intervals are.

4th interval practice

 there are two more exercises below but this time they contain 4th intervals. 

1- Study the score, sing the notes aloud again paying attention to performing the right pitch and practise hand movements to represent the correct time signature. 

2- Find the 4th intervals in the score and check with the image by clicking on the question mark image.

2- Check your progress with the sound file.

3. Rehearse enough till you have no doubts and can perform properly and fluently.
