According to the number of , a voice ensemble may be a duet, trio,  , quintet, etc. When the number of singers is  , it is called a choir and there may be different types of choirs: school choir, church choir, professional choir, community choir, etc. We can distinguish, for example,  choirs if they include female and male voices,  voice choirs if they are made up of either female or male voices and  choirs if they include children's voices. Choirs can also sing a  (without music) or accompanied by a piano, or even a small band.

Montserrat Caballé (1933-2018) was a Spanish soprano with a powerful voice. She successfully performed Verdi, Rossini, Bellini and Donizetti's operas. She recorded with Freddie Mercury (Queen) the official theme song for the 1992 Olympic games.
