A goal is scored when the ball totally crosses the goal line.

When talking about the goal in floorball, you have to take these aspects into account:

  • The goal is only valid if the ball has been hit by the stick.
  • The shot has been taken from in front of the goal area.
  • The goal can not be counted as valid if the goalpost is moved by the goalkeeper or a member of the attacking team. However, it is valid if a defender moves the goalpost.
