Floorball is a team sport.

It is played using a lightweight plastic hockey stick and a small plastic ball with holes.

The main aim is to score a goal hitting the ball into the net with the stick, just as in hockey.

There are two teams in a floorball match. Each team has 5 players and a goalkeeper or goalie and each teammate has a specific role, namely attacker, defender or center.

The main skills needed to play floorball are shooting, passing and dribbling.
