Maruja's paintings are classified in two periods, the dark one and the colorfull one.

We will work on warm and cool colors with our art project. We will create an art piece using different colour types.

You will need:

• A sheet of white paper.
• A skyline photocopy. (Link at the end of this page).
• 1 pencil.
• Glue.
• Watercolor paint and a little bit of water. 
• Paintbrush.
• Black marker.
• One disposable tray. 

Instructions:

- Use your sheet in a vertical way. Divide ir in two parts tracing a soft line with a pencil. (STEP 1)

- On the upper part of the sheet, we will use warm colors. Use the watercolor paint and trace lines with colors. Use yellow, orange, pink and red in this order. (STEP 2)

- On the lower part of the sheet, we will use cool colors. Use the watercolor paint and trace lines. Use green, dark green, blue and purple. (STEP 3)

- Let it dry. Cut the skyline silouette and stick it right in the middle of your sheet. (STEP 4)

- Use a black marker to create the shadows of the buildings. (STEP 5).

- Use the tray to create a frame for your art work. (STEP 6).
