In this lesson we learnt about World Disability Day.

In this art project we will create a set of posters to update our school. This posters will help people with disabilities when moving around. This posters will include a word in Galician, the English translation, the word written with Braille system, a pictogram and a QR code with a link to a sign language video. We will improve communication around our school! 

• You will need: 

- Cardboard and white sheets. 

- Crayons or markers. 

- A black marker. 

- A set of small sticker beads. 

- A QR code generator (you can ask your teacher for help). 

• Instructions: 

- Cut the cardboard and design your poster. You can do it to locate the school library, lunch room, director's office, caretaker's room, music classroom, gym... 

- Write the word in Galician and in English. 

- Make a pictogram drawing to illustrate the space you are referring to. 

- Use the sticker beads to create the word in Braille system. Be carefull when ordering the small dots!

- Go to https://arasaac.org/, find the word you are referring signed in sign language (Menú - Lengua de Signos - Buscar). Use this web application to generate a QR code (QR generator) . Copy and paste the link of your video from Arasaac and generate the QR code. Print it and stick it on your poster.
