WRITING: Recommending a book

Now that you know how to make recommendations and how to describe a book, write a book recommendation. Follow these steps:

1. Choose a book that you really like. It could be a novel, a story or even a poem
2. Start your text by saying something: I'm going to recommend my favourite book, title...by+ author
3. Write 1 or 2 sentences describing what it is about.
4. Explain why you recommend it. Use at least 3 adjectives to describe a book (review the first section VOCABULARY)
5. Share your text with your teacher. Once she or he gives you feedback, you will be ready to complete the project on the next page
