Reading, memorizing and singing 2
This is the second melody to work with in this section. Remember what you have studied about the change of time signatures and the new expression and dynamic markings, check the clef and see if you clearly understand all the notations that appear in the score. Let's start work!
Part 1: All You Need Is Love: score + sound + video

Look through the score, read it several times, study it and make sure you can identify all the notes. Pay attention to all the symbols in the score that indicate how the piece should be played: slurs, ties, dotted notes, accidentals, expression marks, metric modulation, etc. Once you are ready, sing the notes aloud.
All You Need Is Love is a song written in 1967 by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, two of the four members of the British rock band The Beatles. The original score contains a lot of time signature changes and includes famous melodies, for example, La Marseillaise, Greensleeves, In the Mood and even other songs from The Beatles such as Yesterday and She Loves You in the coda at the end and in the beginning bars. All You Need Is Love has got a catchy melody and a simple message of love which was in line with the hippie philosophy of the 1960s.

Here's the sound file to listen to the score.
There is also a video if you need extra help to sing the notes and keep the beat.
Part 2: All You Need Is Love: silent bars
Do the same as you did with the previous score but pay attention to the silent bars. Since you have already memorized the score, you shouldn't have any problem singing the melody during those silent bars.

Here you have got the sound file.Try to sing it while the music is playing.
Part 3: All You Need Is Love: accompaniment
In this third part, there is only the accompaniment, consequently, you will have to sing the notes using that sound line alone. It is important that you have rehearsed enough the previous exercises so that you feel confident and fluent.
The sound file below is the one that contains the accompaniment alone. Let's see how well you can sing.
When you finish these three singing exercises, answer the questions below about the score. Once you have chosen the correct option, click on the word "Check". If you choose an incorrect option, the correct one will be highlighted with a green square.
