Here there are three nine eight time signature exercises. It is a compound triple meter. The upper number (9) indicates the number of time units per bar. The bottom number (8) determines the unit of time, which in this case is a quaver. You have to use the 3/4 hand movement to measure the bars.    

First study the scores and practise hand movements to represent the corresponding time signature. Then name the notes aloud while keeping the beat with your hand. It doesn't matter if you start slowly, the idea is that speed is increased with practice.
