1. Have a look at this video. After watching it and practising the body percussion shown, you have to divide into small groups of three or four and create a new body percussion for the image. Then practise and perform for the rest of students. You can use movements such as patting knees or thighs, clapping hands, snapping fingers, rubbing hands, popping cheeks, clicking your tongue, low to high feet stomping or even hopping. All movements should be performed gently to avoid hurting yourself or others.

2. Now you only have the sound. You have to divide into groups with different people from the previous activity and create new lyrics for the melody. You can make it sound funny with random words or tell a story.

Score creation

In this unit you have created body percussion series and written down lyrics but, in next units, you will also have to write scores. It is a good idea to start practising with Musescore, a free software to create and write sheet music. Here there are three videos with basic information on how to use it. Don't be shy and dare to use it. The two first videos are the most important to start with.
