We have already spoken of the Hippodamian plan, which you can see in the first picture. Observe the plans of a Roman city and a Roman camp (2nd and 3rd pictures). Do you think that they are similar?

Many new towns or new parts of towns in the history of Western Civilization have been planned according to these models, as you can see in picture of the Eixample de Barcelona.
