Task 3. Possitive and negative bodies

Duration:
50 min
Grouping:
One person

Let's create a possitive-negative artwork in the style of Keith Haring.

Example

Materials:

  • Four squares of colour paper.
  • One black sheet of paper.
  • Pencil, eraser, black marker, scissors and glue.

Process:

  1. Draw four different human figures. Add kinetic lines and a pattern on each square.
  2. Watch out! Every figure must touch one edge of the paper, so you can cut them out easily.
  3. Cut out all of the figures. The squares with the silhouettes are the "negatives" and the figures are the "positives".
  4. Paste the squares in the higher half of the paper and the figures in the lower half (not in the same order).
  5. Take a photo and upload it.
