Bowling
Bowling refers to a game that involves knocking down as many pins as possible by throwing a ball.
Ten-pin bowling consists of throwing a heavy ball on the ground towards 10 pieces of wood (which are called pins) placed vertically in a certain position, located at the end of a track, with the aim of knocking down as many of them as possible. The ball has 3 holes through which to place fingers to master the force and direction of the throw.
The pins are placed at the end of the track, forming an equilateral triangle, with one of the tips of the triangle pointing toward the pitcher.
A game of Ten-pin bowling consists of 10 rounds of launching. The score is to add up the number of downed pins. In each round, each player has two opportunities to knock down all of them. It's called a strike when a player drops the 10 balls in the first shot of a round. In that case, the score that occurs in its next two pitches is multiplied by 2. It is called a spare when a player drops the 10 balls in all two throws in a round. In that case, the score that reaches its next release is multiplied by 2. In the case of hitting a strike or a spare in the 10th round, it can be launched once again.
In this way, the maximum score that can be reached in a game of watching them is 300. That score would be obtained doing 12 consecutive strikes.
Traditional scoring of a strike: Frame one: 10 + (3 + 6) = 19 Frame two: 3 + 6 = 9 → Total = 28
Traditional scoring of a spare: Frame one: (7 + 3) + 4 = 14 Frame two: 4 + 2 = 6 → Total = 20
