A tragic incident

On June the 4th 1913 Emily Davison, a radical militant suffragette, ran out in front of the King´s horse in the Epson Derby. She died four days later from her injuries.Why did she do it? The incident was captured on three newsreel cameras and by several photographers, so that you can easily find videos showing the incident.
