For this activity we are going to use mixed media: carboard and paint for the shapes and newsprint for the background.

Shapes:

1. Draw the vanishing point in the center of the paper.
2. Trace 5 - 7 shapes (triangle, square, heart, star...) of assorted sizes around the vanishing point.
3. Using a ruler, connect the corners of each shape with the vanishing point.
4. Paint the vanishing sides of the shapes (not the shapes!) and outline with black permanent marker.
5. Cut off the resulting shape.

Background

1. Tear a newsprint into pieces and paste the pieces in a sheet.
2. Paste the shapes in the sheet away from the center, leaving some of the shapes out of the sheet.

Once you have finished, take a photo and upload it.

You are going to draw your name as if the letters were floating in space. Follow these steps:

1. Write the letters of your name. You don't need to write them in line, place them in an irregular arrangement.
2. Draw the vanishing point.
3. Draw all the vanishing lines.
4. Cut the vanishing lines at 2 or 3 cm from the letter.
5. Connect all the points to complete your 3-D letters.
6. Outline and colour.
7. Once you have finished, take a photo and upload it.
