1.3. Warm up: a stretching routine

A stretching routine includes exercises to stretch your large muscle groups.

Depending on the sport or physical activity, your stretching routine will be different.

However, there are some stretching exercises that are quite easy to remember and to perform.

Quads, hamstrings, calves, adductors, pects, abds, dorsi, biceps, triceps, trapezius, deltoid and gluteus  are the large muscle groups that are included in our stretching routine.
