1.- PLANET EARTH.

Our solar system consists of a star we call the Sun and the planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune) that orbit it.

Our planet, the Earth, is the only planet where life exists. This is due to the following conditions:
.- The Earth has the ideal temperature for life. Because its distance from the sun it is not too hot or too cold.
.- The atmosphere protects the Earth from the Sun's radiation.
.- There is enough water, which is necessary for all living things.

The Earth's surface is made up of these three parts:
.- The atmosphere: The layer of gases that surround the Earth. It consists of Nitrogen (78%), Oxygen (21%) and carbon dioxide and other gases (1%).
.- The hydrosphere: It consists of all the water that exists on our planet: oceans, seas, rivers, lakes, ice, water vapour ...
.- The lithosphere: The Earth's solid outer layer: the continents and submerged land under the oceans and seas.
