CONTINENTS:

On a globe, continents are very easy to identify. A continent is usually defined as the large, solid and continuous landmasses of the planet Earth. These landmasses are separated from others by water or other natural features.

There are seven continents on our planet. From largest to smallest, the continents are Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia.

Five of the seven continents are joined by land to another continent, while Antarctica and Australia are separated from the others by oceans.
