b) Pharynx and Esophagus:

Swallowing, also called deglutition in scientific contexts,is an important part of eating and drinking. It is the process in the human body that allows a substance to pass from the mouth to the pharynx, and into the esophagus, while shutting the epiglottis, a thin piece of tissue behind the tongue that prevents food or drink from entering the lungs.

The esophagus, also spelt oesophagus, is an organ which consists of a muscular tube through which food passes from the pharynx to the stomach. Once in the esophagus, the bolus travels down to the stomach because of the rhythmic contraction and relaxation of muscles. This movement is known as "peristalsis".
