Mini project: "Spot Anglicisms" Create a Padlet with Anglicisms
To complete this mini project you need to be an "Anglicism hunter". What does this mean? As you go round your town, find signs, posters, billboards or magazines in Spanish with words in English. Follow these steps.
Step 1
Spot the Anglicism! Once you have found it, take a photo with your phone or camera. If you don't have one, ask one of your parents or relatives to take it for you.
Step 2
Save the photo to one of your devices and paste it on a document. Below it, add information about:
- What it means
- Where you found it
Here's an example ... Zara home (Zara hogar), I found it on a street in Santiago de Compostela.

Step 3
Share the photo and the notes with your teacher. He/she will publish it on a collective digital wall created with Padlet.com. This is a great site to create interactive walls online. Here's what you need to do to create your own padlet.
