To work in a scientific labotarory specific equipment is required. Every room equipped for conducting scientific research or for teaching practical science, is supplied with a basic lab equipment.

Working in the lab requires respecting the safety rules, in orden to prevent accidents. It is really important to read and understand these rules. 

We are going to do a previous reading at home.

After reading, take notes of every word and expresion you do not understand.

Read carefully the following sentences and choose whether or not they are true.

You must read lab instructions carefully at the end of the practice

Do not eat food or drink beverages  in the lab

Sunglasses are required to wear – usually when chemicals is involved in the lab.

-In small groups (2-4 people) design a poster with your own safety rules to be hung in the lab.
