My granpa Suso is eighty years old. He is a widower, because my grandmother died. He is a really good friend of mine, because he always talks to me, tells me stories, and helps me when I have any problem. He says he knows a lot about life because he has lived for so many years.


Now he lives with my parents, my sister and I. Although he is old, he is very active, and he is always doing things: he walks with his friends, he goes to football matches with them, and he reads a lot. He loves historical novels, and books about crimes.


He was a soldier at the Spanish Civil War, one of the youngest. And he has many stories to tell. He then emigrated to Venezuela, and he spent half of his life there. He was a cook, and then he enrolled on a merchant ship, and then he travelled all over the world.


Now he stills cooks for us all, but only sometimes, because he says he is tired of cooking for so many people!!!
