MY DAD HAS A MICROSCOPE
I use it quite often, because I like observing simple, everyday things, and see them big, anormous, different.
Sometimes, in the kitchen, we have normal things, like flour, sugar, salt, or others. It is incredible to look at them through the microscope, because they look like different objects.
I have observed some elemtns, and then we took pictures of them with the computer.
Here you have the pictures.
But you have to guess what they are!!!

HOW TO MAKE A PINBALL
All we need is this:
- A plank of wood
- Lids of bottles
- Elastic bands
- Paint
There are many ways to make them. In class, with our teacher PAULA, we created different models, and the best way to learn how to do it is observe the pictures.

I FOUND AN ANT IN THE KITCHEN
And then I observed it throught the microscope. It was an incredible animal, because INSECTS are really incredible. THey look like machines, or robots.
And then I thought: why not making a collection of insects? I can ask Dad for help.
And I did it, like DARWIN. Look at this:

I MADE A VOLCANO WITH MY SISTER
Making a volcano is not so difficult. In fact, my sister wanted to make one (she loves volcanoes), and I helped her. We looked on the internet and we discovered how to do it. These are the photos of our own process:
- Model your volcano with clay. But remember to put a tube in the middle, for the lava.
- When the clay is dry, you can paint it with different colours. For example, green for the grass, brown for the ground, ... Don't use watercolour, because if there is contact with water, it goes away. Use acrylic paint.
- When the paint is dry, then you can do the experiment. Take SODIUM BICARBONATE and VINEGAR. The mixture of them is "explosive". Mix them in the tube and wait two second. The lava bursts out!!!

MY DAD IS A SCIENTIST
And I want to become a scientist, too. Sometimes, we put out the lights in the kitchen and make experiments. Look at these ones:

RECIPES...YUM!!!
My granpa Suso, a wonderful cook when he was younger, sometimes teaches my sister and I to cook. As we like it so much, my mother decided that we could go to some cooking lessons. We found ones in town, and there we went. Every Monday we enjoy it a lot, cooking, experimenting, and then eating it all!!
